Kate Middleton Adopts the Barbiecore Trend
Sarah Renard - Madame Figaro
3-July-2023
On Wednesday, June 28th, the Princess of Wales wore a dress in her current favorite color.
Kate Middleton has a weakness for pink, especially if it's in a pastel shade. Her recent appearances speak for themselves: at the end of May in London, she wore a candy pink suit; a few days later, at a royal wedding in Jordan; and this week, at the reopening of the Young V&A Museum, also in London. The Princess of Wales appeared there in a Beulah London crepe dress in a pastel pink color, with a midi length, priced at 805 euros. To complete the look, Kate Middleton paired it with white Jimmy Choo pumps and diamond earrings from Mappin and Webb worth 4,300 euros.

The game of seven differences

Indeed, the Princess of Wales has already worn this outfit before. It was in July 2021, during the Wimbledon tennis championship. There are few visual differences in terms of clothing between these two fashion moments, despite being two years apart. Even the jewelry is identical. The only difference is that Kate Middleton had opted at the time for a pair of heels with thicker straps. This does not, however, question her unofficial title as the "queen of recycling."
