It has now been four years since Marie Chevallier took on the name of her husband, Louis Ducruet, the only son of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco. The couple, who welcomed a little girl named Victoire on April 4th, is celebrating their wedding anniversary today. To mark the occasion, the young woman posted a picture from the 2019 ceremony on her Instagram account with the caption, "Happy 4th anniversary, I still love you." In the photo, she is seen wearing a flared white jumpsuit with a fitted bodice. This creation, designed by Rosa Clara, is one of Marie Chevallier's three wedding outfits. Let's take a look back at her various bridal looks.
The first outfit was indeed this jumpsuit, chosen for the civil wedding. With straps, the piece features embroidered lace at the waist, and the fitted bodice contrasts with the width of the legs. Marie Chevallier visited the workshops of the Spanish designer several times before being able to pose on the steps of the palace, as is customary in Monaco.
Next comes the second outfit. This one was designed by the groom's sister, Pauline Ducruet. Although it was created by Atelier Boisanger, it was indeed the sister-in-law of Marie Chevallier who sketched it. The bride then walked down the aisle of the Monaco Cathedral in a silk Zagar dress with a boat neckline, which reportedly required over 300 hours of work. A few months later, the daughter of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco inaugurated her own inclusive clothing brand, Alter. It was a beautiful opportunity, but it lasted only for the duration of the religious ceremony.
To continue the festivities, surrounded by her guests, Marie Chevallier then wore a short dress made of lace and embellishments, completed with a light tulle overskirt with embroidered lace, once again designed by Rosa Clara. The wife of Louis Ducruet changed her outfit three times to say "I do," just as her husband's cousin, Charlotte Casiraghi, had done barely a month before. Charlotte had a civil union with Dimitri Rassam on June 1st, wearing a short Saint Laurent dress with bows, followed by a religious ceremony in a strapless Chanel gown, and finally, she opted for a bohemian Giambattista Valli dress, paying homage to her mother's first wedding. On the Rock (Monaco), brides spare no effort when it comes to their special day.
