Having a Sister Makes You Happier

You may think that happiness is hard to achieve, but it's actually the simplest things in life that can make you happy. It so happens that growing up with a sister can increase our chances of being happy.
Tony Cassidy, a professor at the University of Ulster in Southern Ireland, conducted the study. The latter proved this theory by testing 600 adults, and he noticed that women who grew up with a sister were more optimistic than the rest of the subjects.
"Sisters obviously motivate families to communicate and be close," he explained, and this phenomenon also applies to reconstituted families; "sisters tend to rely more on each other after a divorce".
So for all those who are lucky enough to have a sister, don't forget to thank her!
