While previous themes were all about Bollywood and the Roaring Twenties, this year, Salle des Étoiles - Sporting Monte-Carlo was transformed into a luminous, disco-inspired haven, with a rose arch and a mirror-clad passageway adorned with glowing TV sets from the 1970s for the royal Bal de la Rose in its 48th year.
For the first time in a decade, Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2024 annual bash of Bal de la Rose to benefit The Princess Grace Foundation alongside her husband of 12 years, Prince Albert II.
For the disco-themed festivities, she chose to look radiant in a rose and silver sequin and tulle jumpsuit by the Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab. The look featured wide pant legs, a banded waist, a plunging neckline and fitted bodice with long sleeves, evocative of glamorous 1970s style.
Princess Charlene accessorized her dazzling jumpsuit with glittering string earrings, debuting a classic Bob haircut that framed her face. Discover this unique trend The Bob: Timeless Elegance Redefined on our website.
Bal de la Rose is a charity event that was founded in 1954, by Princess Grace herself. True to its name, the spring event’s decor always features plenty of roses, the deceased royal’s favorite flower. The glitz and glamour of Monaco’s social scene was celebrated with Designer Christian Louboutin, and Caroline, Princess of Hanover, Gloria Gaynor and many others also attending Bal de la Rose.
