Super-model Naomi Campbell re-wore a vintage Chanel dress that she debuted almost 30 years ago during Chanel's Fall/Winter 1996-97 haute couture show. The dress consisted of black silk tulle and organza embroidered with sequins, and beaded pearl straps. Campbell accessorized her look with a quilted Chanel handbag and statement earrings, as her makeup consisted of a full look by Chanel.
Elín HALL, Icelandic actress and leading actress in the movie “When the light breaks” by Rúnar Rúnarsson, wore an ecru, blue, orange, green and purple printed silk twill dress with matching coat, look 65, from the Fall-Winter 2024/25 Ready-to-Wear collection. She chose to wear Chanel accessories, bag and shoes as well. Her make-up look was also done by Chanel.
Actress Carole Bouquet surprised everyone by walking the prestigious red carpet at the Palais des Festivals. Dressed in a long-structured carbon dress by Chanel from the Fall-Winter 2019/20 Haute Couture collection, the Chanel Ambassador embodied French chic. She added Cristal Illusion Transformable Earrings, in 18K white gold, rock crystal and diamonds as well as a tweed Frangé ring in 18K white gold and diamonds Chanel High Jewellery. Carol Bouquet was also made up by Chanel.
Greta Gerwig, American Director and President of the 77th Cannes International Film Festival Jury, wore a custom long black cape dress fully embroidered with satin sequins embellished with micro cc motifs and pockets in black silk tulle trimmed with black chiffon braids and embellished with jewelled buttons. This look was inspired by look 11 from the CHANEL Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2024 collection and required 800- hours of work. Gerwig wore the Etoile Filante 1932 necklace in platinum and diamonds from Chanel High jewellery.
