The Fruit of Nature

The particularity of this pretty country house is undoubtedly its setting, a garden which balances between French symmetry and the English fantasy of cascades of flowers and secret bushes. We are in the countryside. The charm of the place is indefinable, punctuated by an enormous garden with multiple faces, planted eight years before the furnishing of the house. The place is inhabited by statues, cypresses and perfumes, sparrows and cicadas that can be heard late at night.

Everywhere, open and closed spaces alternate: the exterior infiltrates the interior and the eye always returns to nature.
By the pool, all the furniture is from Dedon.
The interior of the villa is outlined by classic architecture revisited sometimes by large oriental vaults, sometimes by a resolutely contemporary spirit, where English charm is familiar. The receptions are both large and intimate. Wood, warm colors and tapestries mark the volumes with a welcoming and somewhat relaxed line.

Under a beamed ceiling, the living room is a mix between oriental indolence and English rigor. The coffee tables come from Cairo, and the painting is a painting by G. Adelswari, 1894, representing a young woman looking at the port of Alexandria.
