NISHANE, the prestigious global perfume House celebrated for its unparalleled craftsmanship and cosmopolitan allure, released Favonius, an embodiment of timeless luxury and refined sophistication.
Named after the Roman god of favorable winds, Favonius recounts his encounter with Flora, the goddess of all.
Legend recounts that Favonius, enraptured by Flora's ethereal grace and boundless devotion to her floral realm, transformed himself into a rose, her most cherished blossom. Enthralled by its beauty, Flora tenderly bestowed a kiss upon its velvety petals, thus fulfilling Favonius' ardent longing and igniting an enduring bond. From their sacred union emerged the essence of romance, as Flora's affection metamorphosed the gentle zephyr into an emblem of life and of the bountiful embrace of nature.
Crafted to honor this divine union, Favonius marries precious woods and exotic spices with the luminous essence of a crystalline rose, adorned in lush green foliage. As Flora opens her eyes, the vegetal radiance of Geranium, the fruity sweetness of Artemisia and an aromatic whiff of Clary Sage awaken, surprised by a favonian breeze carrying the fragrances of far-off lands. Their powdery, bucolic hues are overlaid by the robust animality of Oud, bolstered by the earthy amber of Cypriol and the chocolaty notes of an intense Indonesian Patchouli, all stretched by a duo of Cedarwood and Sandalwood.
