Stop Making Those Mistakes While Air Drying Your Hair
12-September-2017
Hair is one of the most delicate parts of your body, so you have to take good care of it especially after you shower. We all know that heat isn’t really good for your hair since it causes breakage and makes it too dry over time. But did you know that air drying your hair is equally as bad? One wrong turn and you turn into a frizz monster. No worries, we have prepared some tips and tricks for you not to mess up your hair when air drying it.
Smooth textures
Wrapping your hair in a towel the moment you step out of the shower is a rather aggressive drying technique. It will result in tangled and frizzy hair, and nobody wants that! That’s why you should gently squeeze out the moisture by gently dabbing your hair with smooth textures such as an old T-shirt.
Use the right products
Air-drying your hair doesn’t mean ditching hair products! Put a little gel on your wet hair while slightly munching the hair in your hands to get a little texture. The gel will automatically add volume and reduce frizz.
Comb it right
After applying the hair product, you have to distribute it equally throughout your strands, and the best way to do it is with a wide tooth comb. It’s way better than those synthetic densely-bristled brushes because it simply detangles your hair without messing with its texture.
Hands off!
The number one rule when air-drying your hair is to keep your hands off. When you play with your hair and run your hands through the strands, it will definitely frizz. Plus, your hand’s natural oil will make your hair look greasy and weighed down.
