Coperni Brings its Magic to Disneyland For Paris Fashion Week

After the spray dress sprayed on Bella Hadid which “broke” the Internet in 2022, Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer did it again with a runway straight out of a fairy tale. Showing their spring-summer 2025 collection in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle at Disneyland Paris was, for them, a childhood dream that came true.
With around 700 guests arriving in front of the grandiose Disneyland Hotel, Walt Disney, from where he is, had to work so that the Coperni magic operated all evening in the amusement park. In illuminated Main Street, Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale welcomed a return to childhood which brought big smiles and a slightly feverish excitement.
Modern Princesses:
The SS25 collection, designed in three acts, started with a group of girls (accompanied by men) in white cotton micro-dresses and baggy shorts decorated with delicate organza butterflies, socks and ballerinas on their feet. The Jacquard jackets referred to the birth of Walt Disney at the beginning of the 20th century. Welcome to childhood, these chrysalis children arrived at the park in complete innocence and had only one desire: to have fun, to dream. They also superimposed their Mickey collector t-shirts on their dresses or shirts as 10% of the collection was produced in collaboration with Disney.
The second act was about showing that having fun while scaring yourself is part of the game. The “bad guys” arrived in their black neoprene-style bodysuits or minidresses. One of the models wore a strapless dress with evil tips and was followed by her childhood friend in a hooded sweatshirt embellished with horns. The girls were in long, torn dresses to echo the princesses' anxieties in the face of danger. Lila Moss, daughter of Kate Moss, stepped into a silicone sheath dress adorned with flowers made from electrical cables. On the runway, we also saw a model carrying the new Swipe bag called Ariel like the Little Mermaid. It was created with new 3D water printing technology.
Kylie Jenner, the New Sleeping Beauty:
Act three came and transformation invited itself for the finale. Innocence regained power and the modern princesses arrived in tapered tech jersey jumpsuits punctuated with puffy opera gloves. When it came to the last person to walk the runway, it was the Sleeping Beauty with 396 million followers who made her appearance in a black ball gown with a second-skin bustier. It was Kylie Jenner who arrived on the podium and left towards her castle which was lit up with fountains and fireworks.
