A Halpern x Louboutin Collab?
They organized a disco-themed show for LFW.
21-February-2018
This season’s London Fashion Week was basically an explosion of mood-lifting colors and sparkles. Halpern’s collection was in the same spirit, but American designer Michael Halpern decided to add a touch of sass to his pieces, or as he likes to say: “inappropriate glamour”. The 30-year-old couturier was joined by none other than Christian Louboutin who offered to display some of his latest shoe designs from the Spring Summer 2018 Haute Couture Show.
When two big names in the world of fashion join forces together, one would only hope for the best, and the best is what we got: a delicious mix between sequin, glittering dresses and skirts, and customized artistic high-heeled boots with the footwear brand’s signature vermilion red sole.
Louboutin World’s official Instagram account posted a picture of some of the disco-inspired looks that have come to life thanks to this collaboration. They added the following caption: “A dazzling interpretation of inappropriate glamour set the tone of Halpern Studio's #AW18 #LFW presentation. Glittering miniskirts, embellished t-shirts and dazzling flares were paired with customized Christian Louboutin styles featuring the new, sculptural Gueridon heel from the #SS18 collection. Made for fashion's rule-breakers, thigh high boots in vibrant matching colors and patterns, and playful mules in contrasting color-block fragments and multicolored firework sequins set the #LFW afternoon aflame."
