The Lebanese designer who launched an outstanding pop up store in London fell in love with the city of Angels. Mikati shared with us her best locations in LA. Here's what she told us:
MY HOTEL
Rose Hotel
It’s the Californian Paradise for surfers since it’s only two minutes far from the waves and the welcoming is very warm. Here’s a plus for you, my little morning pleasure: the delivery of my favorite juices straight from Moon Juice with their magical powder. My favorites are Beauty Dust, Dream Dust, and Power Dust. These are a great energy boost before you jump into the waves and I’ll let you imagine how beautiful the sunset can be.

MY TABLES
Gjusta
To start your day in a typical Californian way, Gjusta serves the best breakfast. Their tastiest options: breads and sandwiches.

Little Prince
My Go-to destination for brunch! I go there just to taste their Avocado toast and their pancakes: both very delightful!
2424 Main St, Santa Monica. Littleprince.la
Malibu Farm
Perfect for lunch ! everything is organic and comes straight from Santa Monica Famers Market every morning. The Turmeric Latte is to die for, the salads are delicious and the cauliflower pizza is my little indulgence. Not only the ambiance is very cool but also the place is worth a tour. The decoration is quite dreamy and so is the view: Surf Rider Beach with the music, a real magical moment.

Little Pine
Situated in the district of Silver Lake, this place which belongs to the Singer Moby is for me the best when it comes to vegan dinner. The servings are both healthy and tasty.
2870 Rowena Ave, Los Angeles. littlepinerestaurant.com
Felix Trattoria
It’s not light but it’s super delicious. The food is hand cooked, their pizzas are a must…every calorie is worth it.

AN ESCAPADE
Topanga Beach
Just like its name shows, this beach offers the best waves, the best view, and most importantly the best surf. A true happiness. This is where I go for a dose of adrenalin. For those who do not like to surf, strolling is a good idea during sunset – which is breathtaking.
18700 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu
MY SHOPPING
Burro
My shopping in LA consists of finding the best of the best and a list for the whole year. Actually, when I walk in Abbot Kinney, I always crack for little souvenirs from Burro, a concept store that hides many jewels.

I go there for Murakami and the infinity Mirror Room of Kusama. You never get enough, a must for your Instagram feed.

For the best face care, ask for Lena. You go out completely relaxed with a tan more glowy than Rosie Huntington-whiteley.

Just the thought of it makes me happy…and of course, skating or biking at Venice Beach is unavoidable!
