Christmas Movies to watch with family

Love Actually

This 2003 Christmas-themed romantic comedy film is written and directed by Richard Curtis, and has quickly become a classic of Christmas movies, with an amazing cast that includes Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Emma Thompson…The story revolves around ten different love stories which will somehow interlink throughout the movie. Most of the film was filmed on location in London.

The Holiday

The story revolves around two people, each in a country. Two women (Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet) who have troubles with their love life decided to switch countries for the holiday. Each one of them meets a local guy there and falls in love. A Christmas cliché so worth watching every Christmas since 2006.

A Christmas Prince

And what’s Christmas movie-time without a prince? This Netflix movie talks about an undercover journalist who went to get her fist scoop on a womanizer prince and disguises as the princess’ tutor to get to know him. As plot twists evolve, the “tutor” and the prince fall in love and the truth about him is finally exposed. There are a lot of Christmas prince movies, but this one was a great success last year.

This Christmas she finds a clue so she goes and searches for her father’s identity. She lands in Vermont where everything slowly unfolds as she falls in love with a local man.

Home Alone

It’s never Christmas if you don’t watch Home Alone – and we mean all of them. it gives you the feels, the laughs, the loves. For those who don’t know the plot: a little boy got forgotten home by accident by his family and he enjoys the free life he got, expect that two thieves are after him. It’s a series of pranks and an emotional journey.

The Princess Switch
