Having a beautiful volume - and therefore thick hair - is one of the most sought after beauty features. But without the proper nutrients and nourishing products, the hair can become indomitable, no matter how much gel or lacquer you use.
What are the causes of fine hair? Apart from genetics, of course!
1. The stress
Stress and trauma can have a direct impact on hair growth. Hair loss following a shock is called "telogen effluvium". It is a reaction of the body and mind to stress. This diffuse alopecia usually does not last long, but it sometimes takes six months to get rid of it. The best way to fix it? Take care of yourself. Getting a good night's sleep and following a diet rich in vitamin B, consisting mainly of whole grains, protein, and leafy greens should help slow down hair loss.
2. Excess products and colorations
Hair styling products and bleaching agents weaken your hair by destroying their fortifying fibers. If you can, take a break in the colorations and avoid styling products. And to deeply purify your hair, opt for a sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, and nourish your hair with night masks and fine hair oils.
3. Hormonal changes
Health problems have consequences on the thickness of your hair. Hormonal fluctuations, especially thyroid problems, affect your skin and weight, but also your hair. Many women notice a change in the thickness of their hair during pregnancy. If you notice a really important change in the condition of your hair in a very short time, consult a doctor.
There are of course other factors such as your diet and the way you style and brush your hair, this is way it is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, it takes a long time to correct the damages you d o to your hair so you might as well try to prevent the problems from happening.
