Moisturize regularly
You now need a different hydrating cream from the one you use in summer. In winter, your moisturizer should be able to keep your skin hydrated for longer to prevent roughness and dryness. Try a moisturizer that contains avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil or almond oil.
Sunscreen is a must
Once it's winter, not applying sunscreen is no excuse. The sun's rays are present even when you don't see them and are harmful even in winter, whether it's on a cold, rainy day or on a cold, sunny day. Sunscreen is a must.
Taking care of your lips is important
Winter also affects your lips and moisturizing them with saliva will not help but hurt more. They do not keep moisture well and tend to dry out quickly. Lip balm may be helpful. Start by using a toothbrush and rub your lips in circular motions. This removes dead skin from them and leaves your lips soft. Then, be sure to apply lip balm, preferably with sunscreen before you leave home.
Don’t forget your body
Whenever your skin is dry, it requires a thicker moisturizer and is best to use after a shower. Massage it on the skin and let 90% of it enter immediately. Our advice is to avoid a long hot bath in winter because it is very bad for the skin.
Eat healthy food
One of the basic rules of skin health in any season, especially in winter, is to eat healthy foods such as fresh fruits, raw vegetables, salads, and dry fruits. You should also drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.
