Lockdown can be very stressful! Some use sex as a way to cope with stress, however for most people stress is a turn-off and a desire killer.
If you are struggling to be sexual with your partner, and you find yourself constantly worried, anxious, it is time to relax and put yourself back in the mood with these effective tips from sex expert, Tracey Cox, author of Great Sex Starts at 50.
Split chores evenly
Write down a list of all the things that needs to be done around the house, then split those chores between you and your partner, as studies showed that the more housework the man does, the more often the couple have sex.
Create boundaries
Being with your husband all day in the same place, will kill your sexual desire, which needs mystery and excitement. However, routine will kill it! Thus, while working from home, both of you should be doing his job in a different room. Give yourselves some space to do activities separately.
Diversify in sex
Tracy Cox says the more you try new things in sex, the more you have desire and excitement in a relationship. Try new flirting ways or new sex positions to spice it up a little bit.
Take care of your appearance
No doubt that a hoodie and trackpants are the best and most comfortable combination for lockdown. However, staying days in tracksuits won’t make you feel good about yourself. Therefore, put a little effort on the way you dress, or maybe put on some make up, wear lingerie anything that grab your partner’s attention and increase your sexual desire.
Low effort sex
It is not necessary to do it all when it comes to sex. Tracy says that staying sensual is essential even if you don’t feel like having sex. For instance, if you are too tired from having sex, give each other a massage, take a shower together, or sleep naked.
