Ingredients
3 cups of flour
1 tablespoon of salt
1 cup of warm water
1 tablespoon of instant yeast
1 tablespoon of sugar
3 tablespoons of olive oil
1 egg yolk
1/4 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of fennel flower seeds
1 tablespoon of sesame
2 tablespoons of semolina
How to prepare
In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix warm water with yeast. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Add yeast to the flour mixture, then add oil, sugar, and dough paste by hand for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and soft.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with plastic wrap, then put it in a warm place for about an hour until it doubles in size.
Spread the dough over a surface covered with flour and divide in two parts.
Spread each section in a circular shape with the same thickness by hollowing the surface of the dough using fingers.
Grease the dough with whipped milk and egg yolks, then sprinkle with sesame and fennel seeds.
Place it in a tray sprinkled with semolina then in a pre-heated oven for 10 minutes.
Serve hot.
