Ingredients
½ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of fresh rosemary
1 tablespoon of oregano
¼ teaspoon of black pepper
1 cup of warm water
2 ¼ teaspoons of dry yeast
1 tablespoon of honey
2 ½ cup of flour
½ teaspoon of salt
How to prepare
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, rosemary, oregano and black pepper. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix water with yeast and honey. Stir well and set aside for 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup of flour and ¼ cup of olive oil mixture to water and honey mixture. Stir well and set aside for 5 minutes.
Add the remaining amount of flour with salt then knead the dough using your hands for 10 minutes.
Put the dough in a greased bowl with oil and cover it with plastic paper.
Leave the dough aside for an hour until it doubles in size.
Place parchment paper on a baking tray greased with olive oil mixture. Transfer the dough and press it with your fingers, then top it with the remaining olive oil mixture.
Set aside to rest for 20 minutes, then put it in the pre-heated oven for 15 minutes until it becomes light-colored.
Cut the bread after it cools down and serve it.
