The Tropical Chicken and Pineapple Skewers

Ingredients
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of crushed garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1 tablespoon of water
1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
4 chicken breasts cut into cubes
1 cup of pineapple, cut into cubes
1 red chopped pepper
1 green chopped pepper
How to prepare
In a pan over the heat, put the soy sauce with brown sugar and stir until the sugar melts. Add garlic, salt and spice while stirring. Dissolve the starch with cold water, then add it to the sauce while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
Remove the sauce from heat and add the BBQ sauce and teriyaki sauce.
Leave 1/4 cup of the sauce aside and soak the chicken with the rest of the sauce for about an hour in the refrigerator.
Skewer chicken breasts with red and green peppers and pineapple cubes in wooden skewers or metal skewers.
Heat the charcoal and grease the grill with oil, before roasting the chicken skewers for 15 minutes while flipping them over every few minutes until browned and cooked.
Serve the chicken hot with the remaining sauce.
