Shawarma Tacos

Ingredients

2 kg of sliced ​​meat

1 cup of yogurt

1 tablespoon of crushed garlic

¼ cup of vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

½ teaspoon of nutmeg

½ teaspoon of paprika

2 tablespoons of lemon juice

1 large onion, sliced

2 chopped tomatoes

½ cup of chopped parsley

1 tablespoon of sumac

10 taco tortillas

 

The sauce

1 cup of tahini

1 tablespoon of crushed garlic

¼ cup of lemon juice

2 tablespoons of yogurt

 

How to prepare

Mix yogurt, crushed garlic, vinegar, salt, spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, paprika and lemon juice. Add meat then put the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.

In a pan over the heat, cook the meat until tender.

Place some meat on the taco then add the onion mixture, tomatoes, sumac and parsley on top.

Mix the sauce ingredients and add it to the shawarma taco.
