Hair falls out every day and this is normal for anyone. You may lose about 80 strands per day and it is totally normal. However, if you feel that your hair does not grow back and is falling out a lot, then you might have hair loss problem.
Women fear hair loss, because hair is part of their beauty, and they are keen on keeping their hair healthy, glowy and strong as much as possible. Before jumping on solutions to reduce hair loss, Let’s find out the reasons behind their fall.
There are many factors that affect your hair and lead to hair loss:
Hereditary: It is the most common cause of hair loss for women. In fact, if your mother for example struggles with hair loss problems, well bad news for you, as you will inherit it.
Unbalanced diet: Beauty begins from within. The more you follow a healthy diet, the stronger and thicker your hair becomes. Vitamins deficiency such as vitamin D or iron in your body, can lead to hair loss. Also, if you have a diet that does not suit your body or does not provide you with all the necessary nutrients, then it would do you harm more than good, leading to hair loss problems, among other health problems.
Hormonal disorder: When your body is having hormonal changes, for example as a result of pregnancy, childbirth or period, it may affect your hair and lead to hair loss. As for menopause, hair loss will be a result to low estrogen level.
Stress: It is probably the common reason of hair loss. Stress plays a huge part in our life and affects your health and beauty. For example, you might have skin breakouts and hair loss problems when stressed.
Tips to avoid hair loss
It is time to find the right solutions to keep your hair strong, healthy and voluminous. Here are some helpful tips you can use:
Scalp massage
Not only does it help you to calm down, but also, massaging your scalp helps activating hair follicles by stimulating blood circulation and nourishing it to become stronger. A study conducted in Japan proved that scalp massage for 4 minutes a day for 24 weeks increased hair density.
Healthy Diet
Some foods and drinks consumed daily have side effects on your health. For example, caffeine increases your body's dryness by absorbing the fluid, leaving your hair dry and weak, which increases the chance of falling out. Foods that contain vitamins A and C must be included in your diet, such as vegetables, yogurt, lentils, eggs, fish and nuts.
Essential oils
Among the oils that nourish your hair and limit its breakage and fallout, are: castor oil, coconut oil and rosemary oil. These natural oils have beneficial properties that stimulate blood circulation when you massage your scalp with it.
De-stress
Find yourself some time to rest and calm down during the day, because your body needs this, especially with everything’s going on right now in the world, besides our daily stress.
Whether by exercising, practicing yoga, or any other hobby or activity, try to practice it to feel positive and release the negative energy. When you learn how to manage stress, your health will improve, your face will be relaxed and your hair will become stronger and healthier.
