The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge matched outfits in their first joint public appearance since the lockdown began in the U.K. in March.
The Royal couple celebrated the 72nd anniversary of the National Health Service (NHS) outdoors at Queen Elizabeth Hospital near William and Kate's home. In honor of this occasion, Kate and Prince William chose to wear the official NHS colors, which are blue and white.
Kate wore a blue and white printed dress from Beulah London paired with navy blue stiletto, while William wore a blue suit, shirt and tie in different shades of the same color.
To support the medical personnel and in appreciation of their efforts to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic, Prince Louis showed his artistic skills, just like every child across the UK, by drawing rainbow paintings. Kate shared one of his rainbow handprints, which he made at home while quarantining along with his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Blue and White was NHS logo since 1990. During the pandemic, buildings have lit in blue across the UK to show their support for NHS. The rainbow was also a symbol of support during the pandemic.
