Moroccan Sweet Rolls With Anise and Sesame

Ingredients
1 tablespoon of yeast
4 ½ cups of flour
½ cup of sugar
1 ½ teaspoon and a half of salt
2 teaspoons of anise seeds
2 eggs
¾ cup warm milk
½ cup of melted butter
2 tablespoons of blossom water
1 scrambled egg with 1 tablespoon of milk
1 tablespoon of sesame
How to prepare
Melt the yeast with some warm water and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt and anise. Add eggs, butter, milk, yeast and rose water. Mix until smooth and obtaining sticky dough.
If the dough is too sticky, add more flour until ready. If it is too dry, add more warm milk.
Knead the dough using your hands on a floured surface for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth, then put it in a greased bowl. Cover and set aside until doubled in size for an hour and a half.
Knead again, cover and set aside for an additional hour.
Place the dough on a floured surface and divided into 15 rolls. Place the dough rolls in a greased tray, then cover it with towel and set aside for an additional hour or more or until they become soft and swollen.
Grease it with scrambled eggs with milk, sprinkle sesame and then place it in a pre-heated oven for 15 minutes or until the top becomes brownish. Set aside to cool down and serve.
