Choosing the best swimsuit can be very confusing, as many questions rises regarding the style of the swimsuit and its durability as well, because a swimsuit will have to face all kinds of hazards. Due to the salty water of the sea, the pool’s chlorine, the long sun exposure for hours, and mishandled in a bag full of stuff, this piece of fabric risks of changing color. This might make us throw our swimsuits away every year, which is considered a waste of clothing leaving a bad impact on the planet.
Therefore, to minimize this environmental impact, it is wiser to look out for brands that prioritize the planet’s safety. These brands would give up on plastics such as nylon and polyester, replacing them with natural alternatives, organic cotton, recycled like Econyl, a nylon made from plastic waste collected from the oceans, for instance. Also, by using eco-friendly dyes, allowing fabrics to be Oeko-tex or Bluesign certified, which are proofs that no toxic substances have been used in production. There are many solutions that combine style with ecology, and here are some brands that promote this concept:
1- Ada Perlu
