3 weeks after Beirut Port explosion on August 4, 2020, people of Beirut are still struggling in each and every way following the tragedy, which left severe wounds that don’t heal easily. Almost everyone joined efforts to relieve Lebanon from this disaster, whether from donation campaigns launched by celebrities, such as Zuhair Murad’s “Rise From the Ashes” or “Global Aid for Lebanon” campaign by Wassim Slaibi and Rima Fakih. This weekend, prestigious Dubai and Abu Dhabi hairdressers are coming together to raise donations for people of Beirut, giving their clients a good hair care day, as the proceeds of coloring, cutting or styling hair will be donated to support people of Beirut.
Hairdressers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will join this event to give you a nice haircut and hairstyle, while you will be able to donate this money to the Emirates Red Crescent. L'Oréal Paris International Brand Ambassador Nathalie Kasses coordinated this humanitarian initiative to support the people of Beirut, and confirmed that the event will take place between August 28 and August 31, and appointments must be booked on these dates. Also, the hair care initiative to support Beirut will take place at L'Oréal Academy and EIDEAL Academy.
“As we have all looked on helplessly and have had so many clients sitting in our chairs sharing the experiences of their family and friends, we wanted to help,” explains Kasses. “The initiative came together from a community desire to take action and help the people of Beirut during this hardship,” the event coordinator said.
Also, EIDEAL's managing director, Haitham Eid, said: “The EIDEAL HQ in Beirut got completely decimated by the explosion but thankfully all our colleagues, families and friends escaped and were completely safe.”
“But our heart are with the people of Beirut who lost not just businesses and homes but loved ones. We wanted to do something to show our support and that our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time, so we were more than willing to offer the use of the EIDEAL Academy for this event,” he added.
As for prices, Natalie confirmed on her Instagram account’, that the price of a wash/cut/blow-dry with any stylist will cost AED315, while a wash/blow-dry will be AED105.
So, if you are willing to celebrate Emirati Women's Day this weekend, think of getting yourself a nice hairstyle with prestigious hairdressers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, while helping people who were affected by Beirut blast.
