Next fall’s must-haves

While fall is just around the corner, we selected the pieces that will definitely make a buzz in the fashion world next fall. French brand Casablanca grabbed our attention as it decided to twist the feminine wardrobe with a colorful capsule collection. Le Coq Sportif also had our attention with its vegan sneakers collection made from the waste of wine production. As for adidas, we can’t wait to get our hands on the new collaboration collection with Lotta Volkova, the right arm of Demna Gvasalia, the artistic director of Balenciaga, giving slides a different concept. Also, eyes are all on Supreme's latest craze and the 70’s wardrobe is brought back Inès de la Fressange.

Casablanca womenswear

Casablanca does not intend to limit its designs to menswear only. The combination of comfort and elegance through terry cloth textures, colored silk and exotic prints are all included for the first time in Casablanca capsule collection of 15 pieces for women, available on Net-a-Porter.

No wonder that the French-Moroccan designer Charaf Tajer, who was a finalist for LVMH prize this year, is highly inspired by the female figure in his designs. The suit and tie of terrycloth tracksuits have already been spotted on different women, including model Kendall Jenner.

Printed flip-flops

For the second time, Saint Laurent and the Brazilian brand Havaïnas have collaborated together to launch a collection of summer shoes. The result is leopard-print rubber flip-flops which, will let us enjoy a bit of summer vibes even during fall. Complete the look with a pair of jeans, a fitted white t-shirt, or pair them with a pantsuit that literally conveys the mood of the moment: one foot at the beach and the other at the office.

adidas slides

adidas slides have witnessed an increase in sales in April 2020. Five months later, the passion for these slides remains, why? Of course, because of creative inspiration. This is what Lotta Volkova the creator of this collection for adidas says. The right-hand of Demna Gvasalia, artistic director of Balenciaga, reinterprets the classics pieces of sportswear to integrate them in casual outfits. The slides take a few centimeters in height, the one-piece swimsuit can become a top to pair with jeans or skirt, and the tracksuit is part of an urban look, if you wear it with ballerinas.

Back to the 70s with Inès de la Fressange

In the 70s, actress Jane Birkin wore corduroy pants with shearling jacket and the high boots with high heels. At the same time, Françoise Hardy was a big fan of wrap dresses, mini-skirts and knit sweaters. These two French icons were the source of inspiration that Inès de la Fressange has based on to design her new Uniqlo collection. The former model honors iconic pieces of this decade, including: wool culottes, long flowy dress, long cardigans, checked jackets and velvet pantsuits.

Vegan sneakers

Vegan leather is here to replace animal leather. It is an eco-friendly solution to end animal cruelty and limit pollution. Many treatments are carried out during dying, with high water consumption, (14,000 liters of water to produce 1 kilo of leather), and finally the breeding which results in 15 to 18% of Greenhouse gas emissions. The French brand Le Coq Sportif has decided to take the conscious decision of producing vegan sneakers collection, made from the waste of wine production. The outer sole is rubber, while the inner one is made of cork.

Supreme’s first red lipstick

After collaborating with Louis Vuitton, Supreme has experienced other unexpected collaborations with Oreo and Lamborghini. However, the New York street wear brand is taking its first steps towards cosmetics through Pat McGrath, who created its first lipstick. The lipstick promises a comforting moisturizing texture combined with saturated pigments, one of MatteTrance technology’s characteristics developed by Pat McGrath Labs.

For the package, the golden lips’ logo of the Pat McGrath appears in the middle of the lipstick tube designed with Supreme’s logo. The color, "Supreme red", is unique and will be available in limited edition. If Pat McGraph's lipsticks are sold around 46$ at Sephora, we still do not know the price of Supreme red lipstick.
