5 Fashionable TikTokers to follow right now

TikTok is not only the center of influence war between China and the United States, but it is also a popular platform for fashion brands and fashion lovers. It’s no surprise that 60% of its users are aged between 16-24 years old, according to Business of Apps, a data analytics company.

Fashion brands do not hesitate to invest in this platform and invite new TikTokers to be featured in their runway videos, reaching dozens of million viewers. Meanwhile, a community of fashion-passionate content creators is gradually emerging on TikTok, attracting an increasingly large and enthusiastic audience.

Here are five TikTokers you shouldn’t miss:

Young Emperors

Isabelle Chaput and Nelson Tiberghien are behind this TikTok account with 105,000 followers, they are a couple of visual artists based in New York. They were inspired by a Korean trend where couples match their outfits with attention to details. First present on Instagram, the duo unveiled their first videos on TikTok at the end of last year by staging themselves in sequences full of humor with, always, coordinated outfits. They also prove that fashion is genderless by regularly exchanging their favorite pieces from Fendi, Ami and Missoni.

Jasmine Chiswell

She is known for her obvious resemblance to the Hollywood sex-symbol Marilyn Monroe. She also lives in one of Monroe’s old houses in Los Angeles. TikTok's Marilyn Monroe Jasmine Chiswell has more than 3.7 million followers on the platform. She makes videos in which she puts on retro outfits, sometimes with her husband, inspired by the glamorous icon of American cinema, reaching regularly millions of views.

The young woman is convinced that her house is haunted by the spirit of Marilyn Monroe. Still, Jasmine Chiswell's TikTok account is a gold mine for anyone with a passion for 1950s fashion, as the young woman and her partner wear only vintage clothes found in thrift stores in Los Angeles.

Aleksandra Puch

123,000 TikTokers follow Aleksandra Puch's account, where she lets you dive into her neo-gothic and futuristic universe. The young woman's style goes between the 2000s fashion, with bandanas, cropped tops, bell-bottom pants, and inspirations drawn from the imagination of Matrix movie and Berlin techno raves. Black dominates Aleksandra's wardrobe, which she embellishes with statement pieces like a pink faux leather mini skirt, vinyl trench coat or baguette bag. The young woman regularly adopts different hairstyles from square to mini-fringe cut, which makes her look like Úrsula Corberó in Casa de Papel series.

Wisdom Kaye

Vogue described him as “Best Dressed Guy on TikTok" where he has 3.4 million followers. Wisdom Kaye is originally from Texas and has a real passion for 1970s style, which he brilliantly modernizes through his wardrobe. He also inspired from the aesthetic of the Saint Laurent, Hedi Slimane era. The young man also regularly calls on his followers to challenge him in his stylistic challenges, such as combining colors that are known not to go together. The young man became so popular on TikTok that the model agency IMG has just signed with him.

Denise Mercedes & Maria Castellanos

Denise Mercedes has a message to share on her TikTok account with more than two million followers: style is not a question of body type. The young woman posts videos with her best friend Maria Castellanos. In their mini videos, the duo shows up in matching outfits, to prove to everyone that different body types can wear the same clothes and still look good. Cropped tops, bodycon dresses, mini shorts... the two fashion influencers challenge every piece that might be considered inappropriate for certain body types due to discrimination. Their approach travelled the world and launched hashtag #StyleNotSize bringing together dozens of videos inspired by the two young women, with more than 143 million views.
