Movies and series to get you in the fall mood

Fall season is here, so are cozy and warm nights and we can’t wait to grab our blankets, hot chocolate cups and popcorn jars and binge watch some series and movies over Netflix, because that’s what an autumn vibe is all about. We have done our research and we prepared a list of movies and series that will get you straight away in the fall mood.

Movies

The Princess Switch

Whenever autumn starts, we start counting days until winter holidays including Christmas and New Year are here. Get in the mood with “The Princess switch”, because some comedy and romance can never fail to entertain you. The film's concept of two people running into one another who look identical and switch places comes from Mark Twain's 1881 novel The Prince and the Pauper.

Julie and Julia

Julie Powell and Julia Child are two women whom their lives become intertwined. And when everything is falling apart, Julie starts blogging about her experience cooking through Julia’s cookbook. Prepare yourself to get hungry and cozy while watching.

About Time

A romantic movie always needs a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate. Rachel McAdam’s travelling film “About Time” will definitely warm you with romance and coziness, and will tuck you into an autumnal mood that you’ll be searching for similar movies every day.

Series

Emily in Paris

This sweeping romantic comedy looks set to be the most comforting show on TV this autumn. The 10-episode series sees Lily Collins take center stage as an ambitious American executive who relocates to the French capital to work for a prestigious marketing firm. Between all the hassles, she finds time to party, often dressed in over-the-top ensembles courtesy of iconic stylist Patricia Field.

Say I Do

If you’re looking for a heartwarming weekend watch, “Say I Do” follows the love stories of deserving couples who have always intended to marry, but for one reason or another, were never able to make their big day a reality.
