And Check These Eye-Catching Spring 2021 Shoes

Louis Vuitton and Chanel closed Paris Fashion Week yesterday in spectacular shows that captured the attention of fashion lovers all around the world. Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Creative Director, chose the iconic and freshly remodeled La Samaritaine department store to showcase the House’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Due to the pandemic that forced some of the brands to choose a phygital presentation, only 200 guests attended the show, but fans were able to watch it live, from their own front seat in the comfort and safety of their homes, thanks to live mics and 360-degree cameras.
Baggy chino pants, thick belts, 80’s inspired silhouettes, colorful bermuda shorts, oversized t-shirts that can be worn as dresses… the collection was focused on comfort, inspired by streetwear and definitely gender free. Two trends caught our attention: The revisited trench coat and the controversial new shoes.
The Trench Coat reinvented
Short, long, oversized, colored… Nicolas Ghesquière played with this timeless piece of our wardrobe and revisits it in a modern, casual and stylish way. Our favorite nouveau trench? The bomber jacket twisted by the creative and genius Ghesquière into a sexy trench coat. We need this!
These shoes are made for walking
Are these pumps? Are these ballet slippers? Are these clogs? Actually, these shoes are all that and more. Next spring, Louis Vuitton and his Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière want us to walk the streets in gardening clogs with heels. For those who can’t choose between high heels and comfort, the problem is solved, and we can’t wait to see if these hybrid clogs will become next season’s must-have shoes.
Another shoes trend we spotted at Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2021 show yesterday in Paris, are the puffy and monogrammed ski boots, designed by Nicolas Ghesquière to accessorize our day and evening looks next season. We can’t wait to get our feet in these boots, and we bet they will quickly be named the “new sneakers”, selling out in the blink of an eye and invading Instagram.
