Autumn calls for some bangs

On the Fall/Winter 2020/2021 runways, bangs appeared on most models’ foreheads, either giving a feminine feel to short hair, or making long hair more dynamic.
When it comes to hairstyles, to have a bang or not is a dilemma almost every single woman went through. Bangs have always been a common hair detail seen frequently on the runways in Fashion weeks, including Fall/Winter 2020/2021, where they came in different forms and styles, proving that these fringes will suit our looks easier than we think.
Autumn (with all the desires of change to switch from summer to autumnal looks) is the best time to have these bangs, a little detail that radically modifies the whole face, as hairdresser Dionne Smith said to Glamour magazine. Smith advises equally to get inspired by “stars of the 1960’s” such as Brigitte Bardot, with a light and wispy bang without overwhelming the face.
On the runways, two trends seem to stand out for the next season: that of the XXL length bang, caressing the eyebrows then the eyes, and the daring short fringe. All you have to do is choose which style suits both your face shape and your haircut at the same time.
With Long Hair
Really long hair is trendy this season. The bangs, already seen on the runways, is also complementing celebrities’ looks. Jennifer Lopez did not hesitate to combine her long hair with some long and spontaneous bangs, seen during her date with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, when she was stunning in Satin Blue set and on her hairstylist Chris Appleton’s Instagram. No doubt the bangs spiced up the look.
To make the hairstyle a little more lively, we can always go for wavy hairstyle, but the thick fringe well-done bang will definitely be a dynamic detail as well, especially if we do it the rounded Celine way. You can also opt for a wavy or curly bang if your hair is curled or waved naturally.

With Short Hair
If Adapting the Pixie Cut seems like a real risk, accessorizing it with a bang is even riskier.
However, whether it’s sleek and thin, or swept to the right, left or in between, the bang softens the face features and gives it a feminine touch. A detail to prove that this boyish cut can be feminine and is not only related to masculine vibes.

With the Bob Hairstyle
An essential hairstyle on the runways for few seasons now, the bob cut whether in straight or wavy hair, it effortlessly goes with some well-arranged bangs on the forehead. Daring women will revive the Amélie Poulain spirit, from the 2001 French romantic comedy film, while others will opt for a seventies touch with a thick bang, or get inspired by the Roaring 20’s hairstyles.
