Princess hairstyles that will have your little girl feeling like royalty

It is sure hard to compete with Elsa’s (Frozen) spike braid that almost every little girl is obsessing about for seven years now. However, the young princesses of Europe can definitely be an outstanding source of hairstyle inspiration, regardless of their age.
Whether for the end of the year celebrations or for a special occasion (wedding, family reunion ...), we are always looking for the hairstyle that will make a difference in the look. It is the same for little girls who often have long hair or an adorable bob. The goal is to find the hairstyle that will allow them to move and have fun in complete freedom, without the fear that the hairstyle will fade and disappear even before the festivities start.
To find pretty inspirations, their superheroines come in the first row: Elsa iconic spike braid from Frozen, Rey’s buns from Star Wars, Ladybug’s quilts from the computer-animated superhero television series Miraculous.
However, we can also turn to the real princesses of various European courts. All of them must make regular public appearances and their looks can, like Charlotte of Cambridge, have the fashion houses run out of stock. We can therefore also focus on their hairstyles.
The reign of braids and half-tails
If the bun is not the most sought-after hairstyle, braids, half tails and twists are favored by princesses, regardless of their age. The daughter of Kate Middleton appeared with two braids joining at the back during her last appearance, this weekend. The daughters of Felipe and Letizia from Spain, Leonor and Sofía, are followers of the half-tail, sometimes simple, sometimes twisted. A choice also acclaimed by Elizabeth from Belgium. Simple or split, the braid has the favors of Estelle, Crown Princess of Sweden.

The accessories
And if these little young girls have not yet to exploit the hat option like their mothers, they are multiplying the accessories that can make the difference, especially when the hair is short. This is what Gabriella from Monaco recently proved to us, with her bob. The latter was embellished with two red bars on each side during a ceremony on November 19. From a young age, Charlotte of Cambridge has also appeared with accessories her mother seems fond of: small barrettes and bow headband, scrunchies ... a pop of color that adds a touch of originality. Finally, Elizabeth of Belgium allows herself the silk headband, an accessory already well appreciated by many.
