That’s how the presidential inauguration proved that fashion is essential in politics

A moment long-waited by many, the inauguration of the new president of the United States Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris, which was actually a bit different than past ceremonies ushering in a new administration.

However, we’ve had our radars on all day yesterday and we spotted the looks of the A-listers, starting with the First Lady going on to every other celebrity attending. Keep scrolling to know all the details about their looks for such a special day.

Starting off with the First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden who never failed to impress, she wore a royal blue matching coat and dress set by the New York City-based label Markarian, a look that definitely made Americans talk over instagram and most of them thought that she was reflecting peace.

Moving on to Vice President Kamala Harris, we couldn’t but notice that she, Ex Flotus Michelle Obama and Hilary Clinton wearing different shades of one color: Purple. Could the scene look even more royal?

Harris chose her purple coat by designer Christopher John Roger, but we did not see her in her converse this time! She was wearing classic black pumps and she looked extremely chic and feminine.

As for Michelle Obama, she showed up wearing a design from Sergio Hudson in a super chic and elegant look.

Hilary Clinton joined the ladies in the purple party. The former First Lady and former secretary of state attended the inauguration of President Joseph Biden wearing a bright purple pantsuit with a matching ruffled scarf by Ralph Lauren under a maroon overcoat.

JLo who has been a vocal supporter for Biden and Harris even before the 2020 elections, arrived with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, in a head-to-toe Chanel look: an iconic Tweed coat suit in black and white.

Later on, the beauty guru singer switched to another Chanel look, full white and extra elegant.

American singer Lady Gaga, who performed the National anthem, chose a Schiaparelli creation, a dress structured and is all about uniqueness especially with the dove embellishment, symbol of peace as she said in her tweet.
