Jennifer Aniston is celebrating her birthday today, and in celebration of her 52 years, we are taking a look back at her cult Friends hairstyles.
America’s favorite “girl next door” since her role as Rachel in the very famous TV series “Friends” more than twenty-five years ago, Jennifer Aniston remains faithful to her smooth blonde hair. At 52, the actress still lives up to her status as the most beautiful woman in the world, which has been awarded to her several times by the American magazine “People”. Director, producer and heroine of multiple romantic comedies, she often plays girls who appear shy but are actually strong women. Her hairstyles, seemingly simple, are in line with her filmography: always cool and no frills.
Californian blonde
Her "Rachel" bob caused a stir in the 1990s, but Hollywood’s eternal fiancée didn't stop there. The Californian actor has almost always opted for the favorite color of her native state: a Venetian blonde with highlights that are ashy. Solar, but natural. If by nature, it has a rather chestnut base, Jennifer Aniston does not seem to get tired of bleaching her hair. A few variations on lighter or darker tones have been attempted, however the Friends star has never strayed from her blonde surfer girl. And even Brad Pitt, during their romance, copied it.
Big gap
From long to short, bob to bangs… Jennifer Aniston has casually experimented with a number of hairstyles, although the mid-length sleek and tapered version is her favorite. On the natural side of hair, Jim Carrey's on-screen partner in “Bruce Almighty”, leans more for flexible lengths, which she likes to discipline with an effective blowout. The actress hasn't gotten us used to overly elaborate updos or braids. Her "Rachel" bob is the cut that, of all, required the most preparation ... and the one she liked the least for that reason! : "I wasn't a fan of 'Rachel'. (…) I couldn't do my hair on my own. I needed my stylist Chris [McMillan] by my side 24 hours a day” she told Glamor US in May 2015. It turns out to be complicated and time-consuming to use the brush and the hairdryer on a daily basis. Since then, the actress has left her hair loose or tied up in a ponytail, off-duty and on the red carpet. A reflection of her style.
