Ingredients
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 chopped potato
A bunch of chopped parsley
1/2 bunch of chopped coriander
1/2 cup of peas
3 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of ginger
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
Salt and pepper to taste
3/2 cup of rice
1 teaspoon of turmeric
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/4 cup of olive oil
Method of preparation
Mix the vegetables in a large bowl, then add the garlic, ginger, tomato paste, rice, turmeric, paprika and olive oil and mix well with the hand.
Place the mixture in a pot over a stove with enough water to cover it and cook until rice and vegetables are soft.
Serve hot rice with prawns, beef or chicken.
