It’s awards season again and we all miss the glamorous red carpets, but with the ongoing pandemic, red carpet turned into sofa comfort, with virtual events. However, if you think that this nasty virus will stop your favorite celebrities from expressing their personality and going for eye-catching bold looks, think again. You want proof? Keep scrolling to see what the Grammys were made of last night.
After the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Awards that were both presented a couple of weeks ago, the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards took place yesterday. The socially distanced ceremony was hosted by Trevor Noah from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The four-hour livestreamed virtual/in-person hybrid event did not feel much like a digital one thanks to the in-person seating. Although we still missed the usual Grammys magic and energy, celebrities have done a great job when it comes to the red carpet and left us with some memorable moments and looks.
Here are our favorite looks from the 2021 Grammy Awards.
Taylor Swift looked gorgeous in her beautiful floral mini dress from Oscar de la Renta and Christian Louboutin sandals.
Billie Eilish, who won Record of The Year award for “Everything I Wanted”, rocked her out-of-the-box Gucci look.
Meghan Thee Stallion, the first female rapper to win the Best New Artist award since Lauryn Hill in 1999, shined bright in a neon orange gown from Dolce and Gabbana with Chopard jewelry.
Lizzo looked flawless in a Balmain light green dress.
Cynthia Erivo in a custom Louis Vuitton glitter gown designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, and Tiffany and Co. jewelry.
Dua Lipa looked sexy and stunning in a transparent Versace gown which she accessorized with Bvlgari jewelry.
Beyoncé, who made history by becoming the female artist with the most Grammys ever, stole the show in a black leather custom dress by Schiaparelli. Who run the world? Beyoncé of course!
Harry Styles opened the show with a performance of his hit song, "Watermelon Sugar," wearing a black leather suit from Gucci, accessorized with a green faux fur boa. And let’s be honest, our hearts skipped a beat when he tossed the boa aside, and we got a glimpse of his chest tattoos.
Keltie Knight in a Sebastian Gunawan gold feathered gown with Sterling Forever jewelry.
