Celine RTW Fall/Winter 2021: For The Confident and Strong Woman

Celine Fall/Winter 2021 collection is definitely a nod to the modern woman surviving tough times and staying as confident as ever.
Hedi Slimane, Celine’s artistic director, took his drone cameras to the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte to capture his models walking in the magical gardens by André Le Nôtre. The famous quote by French poet Charles Baudelaire is nothing but a definition to Hedi Slimane’s creation for this collection: “My youth has been nothing but a tenebrous storm, pierced now and then by rays of brilliant sunshine.”
The French luxury house, well-known for its structural, feminine and romantic vibes paid tribute to the woman who is living in the pandemic era, and who experienced the lockdowns, and to the one whose youth is a big storm hoping for a beautiful ray of sunshine.
While we were learning the art of French dressing as we were exploring the collection, we noticed the touches of the English countryside mixed perfectly with the strong French accents, a combination enhancing the creativity of Hedi Slimane.
In the details of the Celine FW 2021 collection
Every model had a luxury handbag in her arms. The show started with strong cut blazers taken from the men’s wardrobe and made with a menswear textiles, straight-cut denims, and definitely a touch of edgy. And we noticed the cowboy-like boots. As the show continued, things started going more “out-of-the-box” with the XXL handbags, grungy loafers and leather staples.
We loved the bomber jackets styled with full-sequined black pants, and of course the extremely oversized and open-leg jeans. Hedi Slimane infused a touch of sexy and fierce especially with the cut-out crop tops and the one-shoulder tops.
The sunglasses are among the accessories that added a sense of cool to every look.
