Ramadan 2021 Style: The Best Looks From Week One

As we entered the first days of Ramadan, Middle East’s Insta stars did not fail to serve us with some major modest fashion inspiration. The COVID-19 pandemic means a much quieter Ramadan this year, spent with close family rather than the usual large Iftars and Suhoors gatherings, but that shouldn’t stop you from looking and feeling your best. However, finding those perfect modest pieces that will look stylish and feel comfortable can indeed be tricky, not to mention the lack of inspiration after we spent months in loungewear and tracksuits. Good news: our Instagram feeds are home to the most inspiring style muses, so here are some of our favorite Ramadan looks we’ve gathered for you.

Moroccan style-star/influencer and jewelry designer Miryam Labiad oozed glamour in a handmade caftan by Moroccan designer Imane Tadlaoui, which she styled with a stunning diamonds headpiece and earrings by Lebanese jewelry label Voyageur.

Kuwaiti social media influencer, makeup artist, entrepreneur, and model Fouz Al Fahad is a vision in white as she shared photos in a linen white caftan by Kuwaiti label Voile. She styled the caftan with strappy leather Jacquemus sandals and diamond jewelry that added a regal touch to her look.

Saudi blogger Shouq went for spring palette in her Ramadan look, as she chose a pink abaya by Riyadh-based label Ktor.Abaya, and elevated it with a Louis Vuitton bag and the timeless Hermès Oran sandals in white.

Dubai-based public figure Marmar Rashid AlHilali went casual yet stylish and trendy for the Iftar she hosted this week. She styled a pink ZARA maxi dress with some ethnic jewelry and white leather sandals. You can also spot Kuwaiti entrepreneur Rawan Bin Hussain in one of the photos, looking amazing in a bright pink abaya by Lebanese label Marwan & Khaled Couture.

Kuwaiti style star Esraa went for a spring palette as she paired her Candy Throne caftan by Kuwaiti label Pop With Love with a Chanel pink handbag, Hermès Oran sandals in blue, and blue XXL earrings.

Bahrain-based TV presenter Shaima Rahimi donned an embellished abaya by Bahraini designer Kubra Alqaseer, proving that you don’t need to sacrifice comfort for style. She paired it with statement accessories and pink pumps.
