Zara Beauty Is Here: Everything We Know About This Dreamy Makeup Line

Affordable, minimalist, inclusive and refillable, Zara's first makeup collection, called Zara Beauty, launches on May 13.
The success of the Spanish ready-to-wear giant is not something that need to still be proved. After conquering the fashion scene, the brand that belongs to the Inditex Group is entering the beauty market with big steps. If Zara already has perfumes in stores, it will now offer a real make-up line as well. For this, the group called on British make-up artist Diane Kendal, who worked backstage at Fashion Weeks in New York, Paris and Milan, and worked with the greatest fashion photographers.
But, what’s the idea behind this makeup line?
Offer highly creative products at affordable prices. “Zara Beauty offers something that has never really been offered before: clean products with unique formulas, high quality ingredients and a wide color palette that presents various choices and uses. Through a plurality of faces and looks, the collection highlights what seems most important to me in our business: There is no single beauty, but a multitude of beauties "explains Diane Kendal. Another important dimension of the project: inclusiveness. “We wanted to create something truly inclusive where the boundaries between genders and identities are ignored so that as many people as possible can take part”. Adds Eva Lopes, director of Zara Beauty.
Clean packaging
The collection is unveiled in a sleek packaging, inspired by the brand's first letter “Z” and imagined by the American design agency Baron & Baron. In the details of the collection, there’s a whole range dedicated to the lips with matte or satin refillable reds as well as a nourishing lip oil jelly and a gloss. For the eyes, palettes are available in duo or in a 6-color version. There is also an eyeliner, also refillable. On the face side, no foundation (yet?) but it got replaced with a loose powder with a metallic finish, a bronzer and blushes. The brand also has a range of nail polished with no less than 39 shades, in addition to a line of brushes.
