Marc Jacobs returned to the runway for Fall/Winter 2021 collection on Monday after two years of absence with two of our favorite models among the lineup: Egyptian-Moroccan-Dutch Imaan Hammam and part-Palestinian model Gigi Hadid.
The show which took place in two iconic locations in New York, the New York Public Library and the façade of Bergdorf Goodman; the models walked the runway at the library while the show was broadcast on the façade of the famous New York-based luxury retailer. This marks the beginning of a long term partnership between Bergdorf Goodman and Marc Jacobs, as from September 2021, Bergdorf Goodman will be the exclusive global retailer to offer Runway Marc Jacobs collections to customers.
Imaan Hammam took to Instagram Stories to share some behind-the-scenes looks from The New York Public Library; the 24-year-old model was wearing an oversized jacket with matching skirt over loose pants, and an orange chunky turtleneck. She also gave us a glimpse of the beauty look and we simply love the XXL lashes that we spotted.

As for Gigi Hadid, this fashion show was the first for the 26-year-old model since giving birth to her daughter Khai with former One Direction star Zayn Malik nine months ago. She walked the runway wearing a head-to-toe black look: an oversized turtleneck sweater paired with a sequined skirt over large black pants and chunky black boots.
As for the beauty look, Gigi sported the same (very) long black lashed as Imaan’s, and her hair was styled in a long braid.

“On the journey back to doing what we love most, in the wake of immeasurable loss, loneliness, fear, anxiety, and uncertainty, I am reminded of why creativity is so vital to our existence. To life,” Marc Jacobs shared on Instagram. “Through the physicality of this shared experience, I hope to offer a moment of inspiration, curiosity, wonder, and possibility.”
