Classic Italian Bread

Ingredients
2 teaspoons and a quarter of dry yeast
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 cup of warm water
2 and a half cups of flour
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
How to prepare
Mix yeast, sugar and warm water in a large bowl. Set aside for 10 minutes or until foam forms on the face.
Add two cups of flour with olive oil and salt and knead the dough well.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead by hand for 10 minutes. Flour is added when needed.
Form a large ball and place in an oiled bowl for an hour, until doubled in size.
Form the dough into an elongated shape and transfer it to a tray on an oiled baking sheet. Cover and set aside for an additional 30 minutes.
Place the bread in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, until golden, and slice it after it has cooled.
