Ingredients
1/3 cup of warm milk
1/4 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon of dry yeast
3 and a quarter cups of flour
5 eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of butter
3/4cup chopped dark chocolate
1 scrambled egg
How to prepare
To prepare the dough, whisk the milk with the sugar and yeast. Set the mixture aside for 10 minutes.
Add 1 and a half cups of flour and eggs and beat until smooth. Cover and set aside for 45 minutes.
Add the remaining salt and flour and beat again for 10 minutes.
Add butter and continue kneading. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover and set aside for 2 hours, or until doubled in size.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface, then put it back in the bowl and cover. Store in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
Knead the chocolate with the dough, then put it in a greased and floured oven tray and leave it for 30 minutes.
Brush with beaten eggs and place in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, until golden brown. Serve the brioche after it cools down.
