This Fall, on the runways, everything was allowed! From eccentric feather trend and voluminous puffy sleeves to cutouts and supersize bags, the fashion world never ceases to amaze us!
One of the most recent examples of how crazy the fashion world can be is the “ugly shoes” trend. Still, from where comes this love of “ugly” footwear? Well, different is attractive, isn’t it? They may be aesthetically distasteful, but this is – after all - the aspect that makes them exciting and fun, plus let’s admit it: they are super comfy!
Let’s not forget to give credit to the coronavirus pandemic that only increased the popularity of unsightly yet super comfy footwear, after they first debuted with the “infamous” Crocs of Christopher Kane for Spring 2017, followed a year later by the Balenciaga’s Triple S ugly sneakers in 2017.
And while they initially seemed rather a seasonal phenomenon, ugly shoes is the trend that is here to stay. Show us how daring you can be and shop from our favorite picks for the fall season!
The fluffy sandals
Ace the "at-home" style game effortlessly with the fluffy sandals! Like the Mexican actress and singer Eiza Gonzalez, combine your fur sandals with a light simple all-white outfit for casual street walks. Just add your favorite denim jacket for an awesome fall look.

The rubber rain boots
Rubber rain boots are the wardrobe staple we need when we enter the rainy season. They pair perfectly with your sweater and legging combo or, for a cozier and chicer look, copy Lebanese-Canadian influencer Grece Ghanem’s style and opt for bright-colored Bottega Veneta rubber ankle boots with a quilted nude skirt and oversize black sweater.

The clogs
Jennifer Garner stepped-out recently wearing clogs, one of this season’s more debated trends. The actress wore light-wash Levi’s jeans and a pink patterned ruffle top. She completed the look with black sunglasses. Just like her, grab the clogs on a lazy day and use them to style up a basic jeans-and-top outfit.

The shearling slippers
This is the pair of shoes you’d be excited to wear everywhere. Whether lounging cozily at home or running for a classic afternoon shopping trip, you’ll want to (impatiently!) slip into these comfiest shearling slippers. They go perfectly with your favorite joggers, your vintage jeans, or a midi dress.

The revisited Crocs
Kendall Jenner is a fan of “ugly” shoes. She recently rocked a pair of camouflage Crocs with her comfy sweatpants combined with a loose sweatshirt, adding a beige canvas tote bag for the ultimate off-duty look.

The comfy boots
For an autumnal stroll, Sophie Turner chose a pair of Louis Vuitton quilted Pillow boots. The Game of Thrones actress wore all black outfit combining a leather blazer (one of fall’s most coveted outerwear trends) with a matching turtleneck and leggings for ultimate warmth and comfort

The furry flats
The furry flats are cool enough to carry into outside life. Actress Elle Fanning elevated the cozy comfort of fur flats with a simple black-and-white classic outfit combined with a casual handbag. She surprisingly completed the look with a colored mirrored aviator sunglasses.
