Broccoli cheddar soup

Ingredients
1 large broccoli, finely chopped
4 tablespoons of butter
1 medium sized onion chopped
2 celery sticks, thinly sliced
1/4 cup of flour
3 cups of chicken broth
Salt and pepper
1 large carrot, grated
2 cups of milk
3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
French baguette for serving
How to prepare
Melt the butter in a pan, then add the onions and celery for 5 minutes. Gradually add the flour, then the broth, along with the salt and pepper.
Add broccoli and carrots. Leave the mixture over high heat until it boils, then reduce the heat and leave until the vegetables are tender.
Add the milk and heat again to boiling, then add the cheese.
Serve the soup hot with baguette bread.
