Samar Maatouk
29-October-2021
Ingredients
10 pieces of bread, crumbled
1/2 cup of semolina
1/4 cup of rice flour
1/2 cup of yoghurt
Salt, to taste
1 cup of water
5 teaspoons of butter
How to prepare
To prepare the dough, mix all ingredients well except for the butter. Cover the bowl and set aside for 30 minutes. Blend in an electric mixer with ¼ cup of water until smooth and leave the batter to rest while covered. Heat a pan on a medium high heat; when the pan is hot enough, reduce the heat to medium then add half a teaspoon of butter. Stir the batter in the bowl and pour a ladle of batter in the center of the pan, then spread it evenly to make a thin crepe. When it turns golden or brown, flip it and cook it for one minute. Remove it from the pan and fill it with coconut chutney.
