Lebanese Rice Pudding

Ingredients

1 cup of rice

3 cups of water

7 cups of milk

1 cup of sugar

1/4 cup of corn starch

3 tablespoons of blossom water

3 tablespoons of water

 

Directions

Boil the water, then add the rice and leave it for 15 minutes without the mixture completely drying out.

Add milk and sugar. After boiling, leave the mixture on the fire for 10 minutes or until it thickens, stirring from time to time.

Add cornstarch, orange blossom water and water and stir for 5 minutes.

After the mixture thickens, transfer to cups and allow to cool to room temperature.

Serve cold.
