Guerlain Releases New Rouge G Luxurious Velvet Metal

Parisian House Guerlain has always been known for its iconic product Rouge G that, since its creation in 2019, has become more than just a lipstick. Each season, the jewel case of the iconic object of beauty is reinvented in a customizable way. In 2021, Rouge G Luxurious Velvet was crested in a new velvet wardrobe for lips, reflecting the Parisian style. Today, Luxurious Velvet lipsticks' velvety effect is accompanied by a bold new metallic finish; a palette of highly pigmented colors and ultra-sensory formulas.

The New Matte Metal Lipstick

The new Rouge G Luxurious Velvet Metal collection has been created in six intense velvety shades inspired by butterflies' enigmatic shimmering colors for an unprecedented matte metal finish. This butterfly mania has also given rise to three new collector's cases.

Butterflies, for instance offer a magical spectacle with their captivating colors and velvety metallic effects. “I like lipstick to be like a fashion accessory that you proudly show off to reapply your makeup at any time. With their prints inspired by butterfly wings, these new Rouge G cases are real beauty charms,” she added.

A Luminous Velvet Formula

A unique formula that matches the depth matte with subtle metallic glints, without compromising on the sensory feel, thanks to carefully chosen ingredients. The tone-on-ton micro-shimmer leaves a metallic matte effect, reflecting the light. Pure comfort is provided thanks to the ultra-fine texture. For an irresistible velvety feel on the lips, nourishing and softening mango butter has been added to the formula, along with hyaluronic acid sphere that help in smoothing the lips while preventing dehydration.

The sleek design of the lipstick offers precise, generous application, with its rounded base that hugs the lip contours and its pointed tip that ensures a precisely drawn lip line. This combination of softness and depth is coupled with 16-hour wear, in addition to a highly pigmented finish.
