Kate Middleton Breaks Royal Tradition with Red Easter Manicure

The Princess of Wales arrived at Easter Mass with a red varnish that contrasts with the sobriety associated with royal etiquette.
Last Sunday, the royal family had an appointment in Windsor to celebrate the traditional Easter mass. The Princess of Wales made a remarkable appearance in a royal blue coat, as a nod to the upcoming coronation of her father-in-law.
If Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte have attracted all eyes, another detail has not gone unnoticed. Indeed, Kate Middleton has broken a rule that she scrupulously respected during the reign of Elizabeth II: to dare a colored varnish. The latter was displayed in contrast on her clutch coordinated with her coat.
Indeed, the late sovereign was faithful to a single nude varnish brand Essie (the shade Ballet Slippers) and her daughter-in-law followed his example, at least in the shade since she was, for her part, open to other brands like Bourjois.
Only Meghan Markle had dared to step out of line by flaunting a black polish when presenting an award to her wedding dress designer, Clare Waight Keller, at the British Fashion Awards in December 2018.
From now on, her sister-in-law seems ready to enter a new era and to dare more colorful manicures. The end of the injunctions linked to the royal protocol would it have sounded?
