Lots of married couples look alike, and it’s not all in your head. There’s actually a good – but rather weird – explanation: a new study published in the journal PLOS Genetics revealed that it was because many couples share the same ancestry. It means they were related hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Well that was unexpected…
Researchers said that those pairs of married couples choose each other because of their similar genes. There’s also another, much more acceptable reason for the weird resemblances. An old study shows that married couples start to look alike as they share the same emotions. And over the years, they even get the same facial wrinkles. Isn’t it adorable?
