Skin types differ and the care routine should be adapted to each type, by using the right skincare products that suit your skin type. However, some external or hormonal changes including other factors may force us to change our skincare routine or it will become useless!
If you feel that your skin care routine is not working, or does not give you the desired result, the reason may be due to skin care products, but if you suffer from the following signs then you need to change your skincare routine ASAP.
Dry skin
Using face scrubs heavily or products that contain harsh ingredients on your skin, such as retinol, alpha hydroxyl acids, or using combinations that strip the skin of its natural oils such as soaps or foaming cleansers, may lead to dry skin.
Therefore, it is recommended to give your skin some rest, and take a break from using an exfoliator in your skincare routine in order to restore its natural texture. Also, follow a gentle routine filled with moisturizing compounds, ceramides, peptides and active ingredients like hyaluronic acid and antioxidants.
Oily secretions

Many people do not realize that excessive oil is a sign of dry skin, as the skin tries to compensate moisture by producing more oil. So it is important to moisturize regularly, by choosing a lightweight formula that penetrates your skin and moisturizes on a deeper level without blocking the skin’s pores. However, be careful not to over-use it. For example, if you use a toner with strong formulas containing alpha hydroxyl acids, do not use on the same day as using another exfoliator. After exfoliation, be sure to protect your skin with sunscreen.
Small red bumps
If acne-like red pimples show up on your skin, it may be the result of excessive cleaning of the skin, and this occurs also when using a new skincare product, which is harsh on the skin. So, the best solution is to give your skin the time to heal and recover. After that, you can gradually use the product on your skin. Starts applying it once or twice a week, then gradually increase your usage over the following weeks. If it still does not work on your skin, this means that the products is not suitabl
