From the modern versions of bucket hats, to berets, baseball caps, and headscarves (yes, they count too!), PFW street style crowd gave us zillion reasons to go for the new headwear trend that’s now officially becoming “A Thing!”.
The casual chic accessory was spotted with a mesh net beret paired with vintage white sunglasses and a headscarf worn in a modest and elegant way, giving a cool fresh twist to the classic headdress.
Check out all our favorite street style looks from Paris Fashion Week and pull your favorite look out of a hat!
The bucket hat
Seen on the heads of everyone from Kaia Gerber to Rihanna, this statement-making headgear is a great accessory to complement a streetwear style. Pair it with your favorite coat before running errands for a classy chic look, or add a fashionable twist to a pair of jeans and an oversized knit for a no-fail way to wear your new hat.
The baseball cap
A classic baseball cap will never go out of style. It just goes with everything and looks cute and effortless all at once. Be creative and wear your favorite baseball cap in different styles, from a sporty weekend look with denim and graphic tee, to a casual feminine outfit with a t-shirt dress and sneakers. A baseball cap also looks great with a sweatshirt and a leather jacket (or a short coat) combined with ankle boots.
The beret
Worn by icons such as Brigitte Bardot and adopted by the greatest fashion designers, the beret can instantly elevate any look. Add a rock-and-roll feel with a slip dress and combat boots or serve Parisian chic by playing with ruffles and sheer textiles combining a tulle black skirt with a tucked-in white shirt for super glam style. You can always add a royal and feminine touch to your classic coat with a mesh net beret and vintage sunglasses when attending a more formal occasion.
The straw hat
Straw hats aren’t just for vacations or beaches. They can easily be integrated into your everyday outfit taking it to another level. Simply pair your little straw hat with an embroidered eyelet top and some boyfriend jeans. Complete the look with slip-on flats and you’re ready to go! Or rock a pleated long skirt with a belted waist jacket and cute vintage pump for a chic prairie look during autumn days.
Headscarves are the new hats
Headscarves are a fun hair accessories trend right now! They offer the covering style of a hat, but are more versatile and require minimal effort, which makes them a great option on rushed lazy days. For an extra touch of glamour and retro vibes, cover your hair with a colorful headscarf finishing the look with a winged eyeliner and red lipstick. Or simply wrap it around your head wearing your hair down for a more relaxed and casual on-the-go outfit.
