Can you live a day/hour/minute without Instagram? NO! Feels worse than a breakup actually. Well, we get you because we can’t imagine our lives without this social media pioneer platform.
As if Instagram wasn’t just great enough, Reels were launched in the Middle East last week making the whole experience more fun, creative and just amazing. We can say it’s the luxurious copy of a TikTok but within a larger platform: Instagram.
And as you can imagine, influencers hopped on the trend and made every possible idea in the making and they don’t seem to get off of the feature anytime soon. But why? Does it make you reach a bigger audience? How is it used and how can you benefit the most out of this new feature? Here’s everything you’re going to be doing the next few days!
How to use Reels?
To access Reels, simply open the Instagram Stories camera and choose REELS.
Here are the steps to make a reel:
Step 1: Scroll to REELS at the bottom of the screen and tap it.
Step 2: Use tools to prepare for your recording. Tap Audio to select audio from the library and add it to your video. You can even choose to add your favorite part only.
Step 3: Start taking the video by tapping and holding the button or setting the timer on.
Step 4: Once you’re done with recording, you can add stickers, drawings, and text to edit your reel.
Does it get you more followers?
Reels has a section in the Explore area on Instagram, so chances are your creation is going to be there and people are going to spot it and watch it. It is advised that you get the audience’s attention the very first three seconds so that they keep watching your reel, and if it’s interesting enough, they’ll follow you and be back for more.
For more experienced tips and trick in Reels feature, you can watch this life-changing video we spotted on Youtube and you’ll definitely get the best out of Instagram and increase your followers in no time.
